Iven Sumardiyantoro is a videographer and photographer based in Yogyakarta. He’s really interested in social issues, environmental communication, culture, and the dynamics of life in urban cities. Iven has created several photo books, including one called “Inside”, which has been shown both in Indonesia and abroad—like at the Indonesian Photobook Exhibition by Gueari Gallery (in Singapore, Berlin, and London) in 2023, the Jakarta Art Book Fair 2023, and the Hybridity 2023 exhibition.
Iven also actively involved as a support team member in community empowerment programs and research. These activities often involve direct interaction with communities and the public.
